The Ghana Police Service has arrested 26 individuals in Kumasi for indiscriminately firing toy guns in public, a trend that has been gaining traction in the region.

The suspects are helping the police with investigations, and several toy guns have been taken as evidence

The Police warned that such behavior violates section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), which addresses offensive conduct and public peace breaches.
The police assured the public that operations are ongoing to address this issue and maintain order nationwide.
