Although incidents of dogs shooting humans are rare in the United States, there have been occasional reports of such cases.
As first reported by The Guardian UK on Wednesday, March 12, Kirkwood informed Memphis police that he and a woman were in bed with a firearm when Oreo’s sudden movement caused the weapon to discharge.
The woman, who was with Kirkwood and Oreo at the time, reportedly left the scene with the gun, while Kirkwood was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
