Despite their outspoken support prior to the general elections in 2024, Kumawood actors and producers have apparently been left out of government appointments under President John Dramani Mahama, which has alarmed Kumawood actor Oteele, better known by his stage name Biggie.
Oteele asserted in an interview with Sean City Media that, as far as he is aware, none of the Kumawood actors, actresses, or producers who openly supported President Mahama have been given official positions in exchange.
”To the best of my knowledge, no Kumawood figure who campaigned for President Mahama has been appointed to any role”
In support of his assertion, Oteele cited actors and media figures like James Gardiner and Abeiku Santana, who have allegedly been appointed, attributing their exposure in the industry and educational background.
Examine the roles assigned to Kafui Danku and Abeiku Santana. It demonstrates that President Mahama will help you become a better version of yourself if you meet the requirements.
Additionally, Oteele acknowledged that he had concerns about whether some of his coworkers might have obtained appointments or benefits but declined to reveal them.
