The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) Executive Director Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah’s bust has been harmed.
The occurrence occurred at around 11:30 AM when obscure individuals broke into the EOCO building and broke the sculpture.
Two cops were on the scene, however they were frail to forestall the defacement.
Since it was uncovered in October of last year, the harmed bust has been the focal point of public conversation.
Staff of EOCO commissioned and revealed the statue to honour their Executive Director, naming the surrounding area “Obaatanpa Tiwaa Gardens.”
While planned as a token of appreciation for her initiative and administration, the move started extensive debate both inside and outside the association.
Pundits scrutinized the suitability of the choice, especially its timing and execution.
Social media was overflowed with remarks about whether EOCO staff had the command to raise such a recognition without government approval freely.
