CEO of Miracle Films, Mr. Samuel Akwasi Nyamekye thinks that movies are one way to get Ghana noticed around the world. Dr. spoke to the Ashanti Regional Minister at a meeting. The film’s director, Frank Amoakohene, suggested ways to revive the Kumawood film industry. Among the numerous suggestions Miracle Films made, one that has begun to go viral is where he suggested that the government should invest in the industry.
According to Miracle Films, it is not a bad idea for the Government to give the industry players, as far as the movie is concerned a whooping amount of 40 million or 10 million dollars every year to invest in their craft.
Miracle Films asserts that with such a sum, the government can direct them on the kind of films they should make so Ghana can ultimately rise to the top of the world. He mentioned that, even though there are a lot of challenges Nigerians and Americans are facing, they always try to project the good ones through their movies.
